When you get a little more comfortable using those default settings then you can expand and test out a few different brushes. ![]() When you first start out creating a webtoon it can be overwhelming because so much goes into it that is why I recommend just sticking to the basic tools and default settings of the program. These are brushed that also come with Clip Studio paint so no need to hunt these down and download them. Now if you prefer more of a softer shading or line art style then I would suggest trying out the airbrush tool and also the opaque watercolor brush. (I can always hear the Kingdom Heart song in my head whenever I see those two words together~)Īlright as an extra tid-bit-tip for my personal coloring and inking style I like clean crisp line art for my webtoon and using the G pen with the anti-alias off helps me to achieve that crisp sharp look. ![]() So if you’d like to achieve the same quality that I have in my webtoon and art pieces then all you’ll really need is the G Pen. I like to keep things sweet and simple because I’m prone to getting overwhelmed and freezing up if I try to take everything in at once. Since there are so many options available it can be a little overwhelming but the main brush tool that I use when creating clean line art for my webtoon and illustration is actually the G Pen in both Clip Studio Paint and in Medibang Paint.
